The Roman Church

A beautiful roman church (dated 1555, but probably older) is located on the top of the ancient village of Aiglun. It has recently been refurbished by the municipality. It is illuminated at night, which guarantees a very romantic atmosphere during the evening.
The "Gîte du Midi" and the “Gîte du Couchant” have views towards the church. The churchtower has a bell which rings from 9 A.M.to 9 P.M. – not during the night! Your sleep will not be interrupted by the bell. The church cannot be visited, except at special events like the “Fête de la Musique” in June and the “Journées du Patrimoine” in September.
