Musée Promenade de la Réserve Naturelle Géologique de Haute Provence:
Located in Digne-les-Bains (13 km from le Vieil Aiglun).
In the outskirts of Digne-les-Bains, with beautiful views on the city centre and on the surrounding mountains. Exhibitions on issues of geology and contemporary arts.  Also temporary exhibitions by local and international artists.

Le Jardin des Papillons:
Located in Digne-les-Bains (13 km from le Vieil Aiglun).
Part of the “Musée promenade” of the Natural Geological Parc of Haute Provence, this garden is located in an area with a very special climate (just on the border between the Alps and the Provence), which explains why the vegetation is very diverse and attracts a wide range of different butterfly species.

Musée de la lavande:
Located in Digne-les-Bains (12 km from le Vieil Aiglun).
Newly opened in 2015, This museum located on the main boulevard of Digne-les-Bains will give you the opportunity to discover the world of the lavender.

Musée Gassendi:
Located in Digne-les-Bains (12 km from le Vieil Aiglun).
This museum was created in 1889. It is now located in the buildings of an ancient hospice dating back to the 16th century. It presents collections in the fields of art, history and sciences.

Centre Culturel Alexandra David-Néel:
Located in Digne-les-Bains (12 km from le Vieil Aiglun).
The Alexandra David-Néel museum was founded in 1977, after the famous explorer’s death. Alexandra David-Néel lived in Digne-les-Bains for 30 years. Commented and guided tours of her house are organised every day of the year, 3 times a day (approximate duration: 2 hours).

Musée de Salagon:
Located in Mane (47 km from le Vieil Aiglun).
Located in Mane, not far from Forcalquier, the “Prieuré de Salagon” (Priory of Salagon), scheduled as an ancient monument, is one of the most interesting medieval monuments in Haute Provence. Château de Sauvan
Located in Mane (49 km from le Vieil Aiglun).
Built during the 18th century and refurbished over recent years, the castle of Sauvan has become a museum which can be visited.  It is an amazing way to discover the art of living in the 18th century.

Musée de la Préhistoire:
Located in Quinson (70 km from le Vieil Aiglun).
This museum opened its doors in 2001. A modern museum with lots of multimedia supports and technical help to discover prehistorical life through realistic reconstitutions. Exhibition of original pieces issued from excavations by H. de Lumley, J. Courtin and C. Legrand.
